about the Author

Collin Simmons is a first-time novelist with a history of appreciating great stories.  She writes horror and dark romance with a feminist bend.  She has worked in the entertainment industry for 15 years, first for TBS & TNT, more recently in the streaming world of HBO Max.  As Sr. Director of Content Planning for HBO Max, Collin helps great new films find an audience as she guides the next generation of television executives.  She studied film and writing at the University of Iowa before briefly attempting her hand at an academic career.  When she’s not reading, writing, or watching, she loves crafting, puzzles, and going to bed on time.  Collin lives in Atlanta with her husband, two kids, and dog.
